Is this the most recent iteration of Ars Magica? Asking for a friend.
Actually, the nostalgia bug bit me after reading about the Whimsy Cards Kickstarter. And there’s something at the back of my mind about an entirely new edition or… something coming out related to the game.

I founded the Indie Game Reading Club in 2010. I've written and developed RPGs since the mid-90s, now I mostly talk about playing them.

Might you be thinking of the Gumshoe-powered Quaestors game that Cam Banks is working?
Mmmmmaybe yeah. That’s sounding familiar.
Good God almighty it’s hard to keep up with this stuff.
Is that what Cam is working on? Dang. I thought I remembered some talk about a more newbie-friendly edition.
I think Cam is working on like five (probably more) things. I would not be at all surprised if this was one of them.
Arm5 is the current (most recent) edition of ArM.
Cam Banks did a remake of Demon Hunters which is a really crazy mixup of Fate, Cortex+ and PbtA stuff. I want to play it!
I’m working on everything.
For Atlas, right now, Unknown Armies 3 (new edition, Kickstarter) + Pillar of Fire (entirely new game & system, concept in 2016 and KS in 2017) + Feng Shui 2 stuff (free RPG day quickstart, potential mega-campaign adventure book, etc)
Magic Shoe, which is GUMSHOE Ars Magica, is also in development, but Jeff Tidball’s doing that after I traded it to him for UA3. He’s very busy though. I might end up taking it back.
Ars Magica Fifth Edition just came to a close with the last sourcebook, Dies Irae, which hits our warehouses next month. It’s been an active line for like 10+ years.
