First world problem: forgetting you bought a boardgame expansion. We had time to kill before MYZ last night, so Theseus: The Dark Orbit found its way to the table. I recently reorganized my shelves and a lot of good stuff ended up in a closed cabinet. So I forgot how great this is as a three player filler. Then I opened the box and, hey, I did buy the expansion after all.

Bots is a really strong expansion, and pretty simple: just a new faction and three new bonus sector cards. They’re straight hitters like the Marines and the Aliens but they have some neat robotty tricks.

Anyway, $12 well spent for a game I’ve gotten a ridiculous amount of play out of the past year.
