Imperial Assault
Started a campaign as methadone for the Gloomhaven box that may arrive at any moment. It’s still cool! I added the Twin Suns expansion stuff and the characters and even one of the new side missions made an appearance tonight. All that unpainted plastic makes me sad though.
I have played through the campaign three times and still love it. The Twin Suns expansions provides some nice variation.
I got the next step of stuff and stopped because it’s been a couple years since we last messed with it. Then we set up again last night (me as Empire again) and remembered how rad it is.
I do love that a campaign doesn’t take forever, and that you can actually get pretty ruthless about Empire-side combos of agendas and class.
Our household also waits restively for Gloomhaven’s arrival.
I hate it when the delivery is dragged out for so long. I’ve seen photos posted! Oregon isn’t that far away! Grr.
My Gloomhaven arrived last week, and I’ve barely looked at the rulebook, yet.
Does that make me a bad gamer?
Should I be sharing excited pictures?
I just received my Non-stick stickers last night, and I assembled the Broken Token insert last week. Just waiting on the game!

Glenn Rittenhouse I’ve got the insert as well. Building that elaborate Terra Mystica insert a few weeks ago killed my enthusiasm.
Paul Beakley I really enjoyed building it. It was a small art project all on its own lol. 3 hours in front of the TV, catching up on Walking Dead while I glued wood together.
I got my Gloomhaven removable sticker set, but not the game itself yet… :/
