Kit La Touche this is really interesting, and I feel like it really is at the core of what makes subtextual high stakes social conflicts so rewarding on screen and so very hard to approach at the table (in a way that I’d find rewarding, given the need for clarity and on-the same-page-ness when you have players invested in success and maybe can’t be relied on to be honest brokers).
