Re: Trump – I think he’s good at observing behaviors and figuring out how to elicit the reactions he wants. That’s not empathy, though. I think that matters because the reality is that most of us don’t want to really engage in empathy at the game table. It is taxing and hard to be empathic. It’s easier to just look at the effects of traits and how they can be used to make a story that grabs you. That’s why game stories fridge kids but don’t make you roll to change a diaper, I suspect.
