The setting setup stuff is just terrific in that game. I feel you on the looseness of the moves, but it worked for us when we engaged them a bit loosely rather than in a strictly prescriptive way. It’s a highly suggestive ruleset, in my mind, that benefits from players being assertive with it, rather than leaning on the mechanics to generate narrative momentum, if that makes sense. See also: Beliefs, etc. You kind of have to bring it a bit more, compared to tighter and more focused rulesets, IMO.
