Man. The whole point of the list-of-question moves is that they don’t contain every question you might want to ask. This is exactly what is so great about them. They’re an epistemic model of the fictional world: they constrain what is knowable through what methods. They place emphasis on different things, they suggest lacunae in human empathy… they shape what actions the PCs can and can not take with what level of confidence. Whenever I hear some MC be like ‘oh I just let them ask whatever’ I want to cry.
