To complicate things further (1) somebody still has to make a judgment call about when a move is triggered, and (2) there are a number of pretty open-ended triggers (the “pocket crimes” of AW) like Do Something Under Fire and various MC moves that you can make for A Golden Opportunity or just in response to something a character said or did (including what you have NPCs say and do). This means that it’s great that the triggers are supposed to be explicit, but that there’s still a lot of judgment calls that have to be made.
