tfw you reopen a half-forgotten design project, get reaquainted with the work as it stands, and realize you’re just a few small revisions away from a playable, or at least readable/commentable, draft.

It’s not Misfortune but another, older thing. My crypto-Arthurian thing. I haven’t wanted to get excited about it but I am! I’ll be looking for readers and players — probably not in time for BigBadCon, unfortunately, but never say never.

Nothing awesome or insightful, just wanted to share a small positive thing. I’ve been feeling a little con-droppy since the weekend, so.

(I didn’t feel like sharing my idea graveyard like folks were doing this week because a) it’s all a graveyard and b) it’s maybe 8 items, blah, ideas are cheap.)

  1. Somewhere within a glass and steel highrise in a field surrounded by standing stones, young Art unloads his rucksack from his shoulder to a small bed. Lucan walks in and hands Art a slip of paper. Upon the paper reads “pendrag0n.”

    Art: What’s this?

Lucan: Wi-fi password. We’re not savages.

^^not this but it would be pretty cool.

  2. Keith Stetson well, productive Notables were doing so. Jason Morningstar posted a really impressive list of half-finished stuff, and then others followed up.
