Yeah, PCs actually fighting each other is kind of dumb and just like D&D whoever gets low in HP first either gives in or ends up dying, basically. You sort of have to lean on the narrative success of a 7+ combat roll instead of concentrating on damage. Or just tell the players that killing other PCs won’t help them win the game. Maybe they’ll get the hint.

Parley’s also not the greatest move for Dungeon World, because seduce/manipulate is not actually a generic social move. But hey, those were the dark ages of 2012 and we didn’t have much else.
