I’m torn on Cortex Plus. By virtue of time and distance and not having any rights to ownership, I’m no longer the vocal champion of the game that I was, but I’m fiercely proud of the games I created. I think Marvel Heroic is my favorite, with Leverage and Smallville as runners up. I think Firefly is the game I was hired to create, and many people really think it’s the perfect distillation of Cortex Plus ideas. It’s possible they’re not wrong, but I suppose its attachment to a property I don’t really like colors it for me. Use it for Guardians of the Galaxy and I might love it all over again.
