Hi, Adrian. Thank you! And apologies, some nuance got bleached out of my sentences there. I definitely didn’t mean that character play isn’t possible or likely in Trophy Gold. I just meant that if you were coming from say Hearts of Wulin or The Between (sticking with Gauntlet Pub games), you might find Trophy Gold less focused or less supportive of your character play than those other games. Your Hearthfire point is well-taken though! And that is definitely a point where space is created explicitly for character play. Cheers!
