I do wonder if the hesitation/skepticism I sometimes hear is rooted in what looks like is going to be “more work.” Dunno, it sure seems like less work. But it’s so baked into my table method now that it feels like it’s missing when I don’t do it (one-shot freeforms, some specific ttrpg formats).
