Maybe kinda neat! I dig the premise, the structure of play (based on a couple sentences) sounds promising.

Haven’t backed it yet but I’ve set a reminder.

  1. But what do you doooo– Oh hey, there’s a section for that.

It’s like the IGRC vocab is sneakin’ into common Kickstarter parlance. Influence.

I love the idea of the players creating the patron together and play branches off from the patron’s needs. Perfect impetus for play.

Also, I think the use of the word “battle” in the game pertains to more than just physical combat. I dig.

  2. Not a fan of “KS exclusives that you can’t get at the digital-only level”, so that turned me off. Also the vagueness with which the system is described. Buuut the setting is cool, and I do like that group cohesion is built into the system.

I’ll see what sorts of early buzz it gets.

  3. It’s interesting that Pre-PBTA, I always felt like the dice mechanic of a game gave me feels about it. Now, having been blown away by “2d6, static diff, but the real rules are the moves”, my nagging questions are about everything but the dice.
