  1. I guess it’s time to start getting comfortable commenting here instead of over at the Plus!

    I find that privileging of Kickstarters at RPG/net very very strange, but it definitely taps into a zeitgeist about crowdfunding.

    Perhaps ironically, certainly unexpectedly, as an early adopter of crowdfunding and a certified KS “superbacker,” I find myself backing fewer and fewer projects, and at lower and lower levels. It’s possible, maybe even likely, that within the next 5 years, KS won’t be part of my purchasing ecosystem at all, save the occasional must-have-in-exclusive-hardback game.
