Man, people are still releasing 100 different exact duplicates of D&D a year and SOMEONE is buying them. Just do your thing and if you never actually publish it, but get it into a form where it’s fun and good for your group, that’s all you need to achieve virtue, and all beyond that, as the Oracle at Delphi once said, is gravy.
