I had much the same reaction. Cool setting, really uninspired system. I feel instinctively like Cortex Plus might be a really good fit for it, but I hadn’t seen that hack. Like, you would have certain traits that come with your “mind” and others that come with your “morph”/sleeve, and the differences between them would manifest as complication d4s.
