Not going to say much, but I think on the left you’re seeing the limits of what the language of liberalism (representation, allyship, etc) can achieve. And this is an offshoot of that. We–and this is a general we encompassing most of the non-Marxist left which doesn’t actually include myself, since I’m part of the Marxist left, so it’s more properly a “you”–can’t get past this thing where everyone stops talking because performative necessity demands it.
