Also also: I consider myself an ally (perhaps not a great one, but I try) of marginalized groups and peoples and that means often that there is nothing for me to add to conversations, because I am literally the white guy swooping in and what the fuck do I know? Maybe it’s taking “being an ally means not dominating the conversation” too literally.
